Figure 2: Shows a before photo of lip neutralization and an after of 5 days during peeling stage. The cooler and darker tones were removed and neutralized with a warmer and more even tone. A second session will be done 8 weeks later to reach the target color of a more pink tone. This is not natural melanin, it’s a smokers lip. Rather you naturally have melanin or if it’s from smoking, you have a chance at restoring your lips to a beautiful and even tone.

Figure 3: This Mili Babe was a great candidate for Lip Blushing. Yes, she has melanin present in some areas but not enough to do a full neutralization session. The melanin spots were neutralized to camouflage the uneven tones. We also used the desired target color to overall give an even warm pink tone. She will heal 40% lighter within an 8 week period. At that time, she can decided to add more color or stay at the healed tone.
